本人在澳大利亚墨尔本有幸认识了钟老师。
我为她创作的100米书法长卷（古文观止）制作了宣传片及鉴赏网站，望诸位老师指教，也借此欣赏一下此不多见的长卷作品。

回饋社會的藝術工作者
An artistic worker who pays back to the society  

本月三十日開始，歡欣機構舉辦「鍾志澄師生書法展」。來自廣州的鍾老師為中國著名的書法家，曾任墨爾本庸社會長，前年更於廣州美術館舉行個人書法展，書法造詣極高。數年前，鍾老師選了《古文觀止》內一些文章及唐詩宋詞等，書寫了百米長卷，盼望能藉書法藝術，發揚中國文化(本刊蒙鍾老師允准，把百米手卷全卷製作為網頁，展出於《同路人》網站www.sameway.com.au中，讓讀者可以欣賞全卷。

鍾老師不單書法藝術高超，服事社區更是不遺餘力。無論推動書藝，或是社會公益，老師都不辭勞苦去支持。以她一代名家的造詣，她沒有吝惜地每年於各年宵活動中，為人書寫揮春，把祝福送給社區，她所看重的，是把書法藝術，回饋社區。

不單如此，鍾老師更不遺餘力地在各社團中教授學生書法課程。所有受她教導的學生，不約而同認為鍾老師是一位熱心、認真教學的老師，而且都會感染到她對書法的熱情及體會書法對提昇個人修養的影響。

與鍾老師相交數年，最為欽佩的是她敢言的氣度。作為老師，她在本刊開設專欄，介紹書法學習，從學生作品中，指出優點及缺點，讓習書法者能不單只從臨摹好的作品得益，也能從錯誤中學習。

今次「鍾志澄師生書法展」，更邀得鍾老師於維省婦女會所教的書法班同學參加，歡迎對書法藝術有興趣的讀者光臨指導，互相切磋，令教學相長，盼能達到鍾老師要把自己藝術回饋社會的宏志。

From 30th October Rejoice Organisation will be holding a ‘Madam Zhi-Cheng Zhong and students’ Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition’. Madam Zhong is a famed Chinese calligraphist from GuangZhou; she had served as the chairperson of the Chinese Artists Society of Victoria and she had held her own commendable calligraphy exhibition at the GuangZhou Art Gallery. A few years back Madam Zhong had produced calligraphy of metres long by writing scripts from the “Literature of the Past” and some poems of the Tang and Sung dynasties. With a view of promoting Chinese culture, we have obtained the consensus of Madam Zhong to exhibit this incredible piece of work at our website www.sameway.com.au for the benefits of our readers.

Madam Zhong is renowned not only for her calligraphic skills but also for her tireless effort in serving the community through various social and charity projects. Her selflessness is demonstrated such as by her preparation of couplets during every lunar year and pay back the community with her blessing and calligraphic art.  

Moreover, Madam Zhong is industrious in teaching calligraphy classes in many community organisations. All her students have high regard to her passion and devotion as they all acquired much inspiration from her in calligraphy as well as its positive input in refining personal temperament.

Knowing Madam Zhong for several years I am impressed by her bold character. In a Sameway special column, she has taken up the responsibility to present and comment students’ calligraphy works so that novices can learn from both good and flawed samples.

Class members from the Victoria Women Association would also be invited to join in this Exhibition. All interested readers are welcome to come and share their appreciation and insight in order to fulfil Madam Zhong’s aspiration of repaying her artistic gift to the society.
